Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate: A Brief Evaluation

Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate is worth evaluating when a brokerage needs stronger relationships with other luxury property specialists and a clearer route to marketing homes beyond its immediate market. The deciding question is whether this particular network helps your people do work they cannot do as effectively today.
Evaluation reviewed September 7, 2026. Availability, services and commercial terms should be confirmed in a current written proposal.
Understand which network you are considering
Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s official profile identifies it as a global broker network associated with LuxuryRealEstate.com, a property portal. The organization describes selected membership and marketing and advertising services. Its public updates also show member property tours, conferences and brokerage introductions.
In this evaluation, LRE refers to Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and LuxuryRealEstate.com. Leading Real Estate Companies of the World is a different organization. Distinguish the two when requesting information or comparing a proposal with an existing membership.
Test the relationships before counting the network
Begin with the places your clients actually move to and from. Select a few destination markets and investigate the member firms there: relevant property experience, responsiveness and the person who would handle an introduction. A long directory is useful only if it helps your agents establish dependable working relationships.
Ask how a new member meets other brokers and what continuing participation looks like. If conferences are part of the attraction, include travel and time away from the office in your evaluation. Assign someone to follow through after introductions; otherwise, a promising conversation can remain just a name in a contact list.
The organization’s public updates include professionals from both independent and branded firms. That is a reason to ask about your circumstances, not a guarantee that membership is compatible with every existing affiliation. Confirm the proposed use of marks and any relevant restrictions before making plans.
Examine the property marketing as a seller would
Choose a representative listing your office is authorized to discuss and ask for a demonstration of its proposed presentation. Establish which properties qualify, who supplies photographs and copy, how updates reach the portal, and who receives an inquiry. Review the presentation on a phone as well as a large screen.
Separate an included property page from additional advertising or a selected promotional opportunity. Ask for reporting that distinguishes visits to that property from the wider site’s audience. For your own records, identify attributable inquiries and the conversations they produce. Neither a large audience nor an attractive page establishes a transaction outcome.
Where membership may fit—and where it may fall short
The strongest case is a specific gap: your brokerage has suitable inventory and capable local service but needs relationships in particular markets or property exposure its current channels do not provide. Membership deserves closer investigation when your team can name the people, listings and activities it would prioritize.
The case is weaker if the main objective is a badge for the website, or if no one has time to build the relationships. It also weakens when the proposed marketing duplicates services you already use without demonstrating a useful difference. Those are reasons to refine the purpose before committing, not conclusions about the network’s performance for every member.
Request a complete proposal covering required payments, optional promotion, participation, term and exit arrangements. Compare that commitment with the services and relationships you already have. Review membership against the business purpose you chose, using your office’s experience rather than headline network statistics.
