A straightforward real estate recruiting voicemail

A recruiting voicemail should let an agent identify you, understand the reason for the call and decide whether to respond. Keep the opportunity specific enough to be credible. Promising to double someone’s business is not a substitute for explaining it.

This is an illustrative script for an individual voicemail left through your brokerage’s approved contact process. It is not authorization for automated calls or recorded-message campaigns. Replace every bracketed field with accurate information before using it.

A straightforward message

“Hi [name], this is [your name] with [company]. I’m calling about [specific recruiting opportunity] in [area]. If you’re interested in learning about [one actual feature of the role or arrangement], you can reach me at [callback number]. Again, this is [your name] with [company], at [callback number]. Thank you.”

Read the callback number clearly. Choose a number that reaches someone who can handle the response, and make sure the person answering knows the reason for the invitation.

Make the reason worth hearing

A useful reason might be a verified role, an actual new location or a specific kind of support. Describe what exists. Do not imply that a mutual contact referred the agent unless that referral occurred and can be appropriately mentioned.

Leave out assumed production goals, false scarcity and claims about how quickly the agent could grow. The voicemail’s job is to make an honest introduction; details about compensation and responsibilities belong in the subsequent discussion.

Handle a response with continuity

If the agent calls back, restate the opportunity and ask what they want to understand. Have the actual role details and written terms available. The introduction script offers a way to continue without assuming that a returned call means the agent wants to change companies.

No response is not permission for an open-ended sequence of calls, texts and emails. Follow the applicable approved contact process and respect any request to stop. Do not leave repeated messages with invented urgency.
