Build the brokerage you want to own.

A boutique brokerage can compete through a clear market position and close working relationships. As the owner, you also need to decide how the business will earn, which agents it can support and how much of its work should depend on you.

RE Luxe Leaders provides business consulting for brokerage owners. We help you examine those decisions together and carry out the changes agreed for your company. The starting point is the business you have built and what you want it to become.

Choose where a smaller firm can make its contribution clear.

We look at the clients and agents you want to attract, what your company offers them and the evidence behind that offer. Your positioning should explain the actual work, support and experience people can expect.

That review can lead to changes in messaging, marketing, recruiting or the way the brokerage delivers its support. The purpose is to connect what you say about the firm with the business people encounter after they join or become a client.

Examine the owner’s role alongside the economics.

If you also produce, manage and recruit, the company’s needs compete for your attention. We help you examine which responsibilities require your involvement, which could move to someone else and what support would make that possible.

Costs, agent contribution and the work required to serve the business belong in the same discussion. Adding people or services may be worthwhile, but the plan needs to account for the resources and management they require.

Give recruiting and follow-through a place in the plan.

We can help clarify the agents you want to work with, the reasons they might consider your brokerage and the activity behind a recruiting plan. Onboarding and ongoing support matter to whether that plan fits the business you intend to build.

Current arrangements and travel.

Existing Elite Partner and Private Client services, access, commercial terms and agreed on-site or speaking commitments continue under your agreement. Bring questions about those commitments to your existing RELL contact. New engagement responsibilities, timing and terms are discussed for the work involved.

We aim to handle travel carefully, avoid unnecessary costs and seek reasonable options, including economy travel where appropriate. The published travel and expense policy is:

  • Accommodation: business hotels generally rated three to four stars. Higher-grade hotels are appropriate only for events or conferences when the hotel hosts the event.
  • Transportation fares: coach fare is reimbursed for flights under 2.5 hours; business class for flights over 2.5 hours.
  • Local transportation: taxis, rideshare fares, metro, public transportation and tolls; rental cars of intermediate class or smaller.
  • Meals and incidentals: up to $75 per day when traveling for business.
