Choose what the next stage should achieve.

A successful agent can have several worthwhile directions available: strengthen a market position, pursue different client relationships, improve the economics of the business or create more capacity. Choosing among them deserves as much attention as carrying out the work.

RE Luxe Leaders provides business consulting for established agents. We help you examine those choices, decide what matters now and work on the changes that follow. The engagement can evolve as your priorities and business develop.

Look at the connections behind the decision.

Marketing, relationships, costs and working practices affect one another. A campaign may attract inquiries your current follow-up cannot handle. Adding support may free time only if the responsibilities move with the work. A stronger market position needs to be reflected in the client experience as well as the presentation.

We start by understanding what is happening in your business and what you want next. We examine the information available, ask where the explanation is incomplete and discuss the tradeoffs. Recommendations need to account for the people and resources that will carry them out.

Turn the priority into specific work.

If positioning is the priority, we may work on your message, marketing and the relationships relevant to the clients you want to reach. If capacity is the issue, we may examine responsibilities, recurring work and the demands on your time. If profitability is the objective, the review needs to connect revenue with costs and the way the business operates.

The scope follows the business. We explain what we propose to do, what you and your team would own, and how we will assess progress. Consulting can include advising, coaching, planning and help implementing agreed changes.

Use experience and evidence to assess fit.

Chris Pollinger’s operating background includes brokerage leadership, management, recruiting and business development. The useful question is how that perspective relates to the decision you are making. Read Chris’s background and the published account of an agent’s business development work for context.

An account of another business can help you evaluate the kind of work involved. Your plan still needs its own starting point, responsibilities and measures; another client’s result is not a forecast for yours.

Start with the decision in front of you.

We can discuss the next stage even if you have not settled on a solution. If your main priority is entering higher price points, explore developing that market position. If you are considering your first team, review the decisions involved in building one.

Existing clients’ services, access and commercial arrangements continue under their agreements.
